For weeks after that, I felt absolutely miserable, and every time I tried to talk about, I’d burst into tears. Your story made me feel better. I mean, the thought that someone else was just as miserable as you is kind of depressing, but comforting in a way. You should let people submit their bad Skrillex stories.

Wow, that sucks :c sorry your Skrillexperience was a shitty one, but don’t let it put you off going to his gigs! I mean sure, that last one sucked but the gig I went to in December was one of the best nights of my life! I fucking loved it, the concert was sensational, the after party was amazing, I got a hug from Roadhog and I made a heap of new friends! Just because one gig sucked doesn’t mean they all will!

Also, woah woah woah, I may have had a sucky night, been poisoned, ended up in hospital, vomited everywhere, missed out on the chance to meet my foking hero and missed half of Sonny’s set, but I never said I was miserable!

I met new people, I saw Alvin Risk and Zane Lowe’s sets [Zane foking killed it!] I saw part of Sonny’s set, I WAS IN THE SAME ROOM AS SONNY, I danced my butt off and Sonny and Roadhog got my presents.

And that definitely isn’t anything to be miserable about! You have to make the best of every situation you’re given. I guess, once you’ve been made to accept your own mortality and you know the end isn’t too far away, you’re kind of forced to embrace every moment you’re given, but I think it’s a pretty good way to live your life. I mean, cancer aside, we’re all going to die someday. It could be decades away, it could be tomorrow! No one knows, which is why I think we need to seize every opportunity we get and make every last second count.

So yeah, my night could have been heaps better, but it could have been an awful lot worse, and there are still plenty of reasons to smile about it! :D
