This beautiful work of art is by deathdetonation. It’s one of my favorite drawings of Sonny, I just think it’s gorgeous. It’s quite simple, but I think that’s one of the things I love about it, and even though it isn’t incredibly detailed, you still couldn’t mistake it for anyone but Sonny. I asked her for a little background information on the drawing and she said;

That drawing was made during a time when I was feeling really, really down. And whenever I feel bad, I sometimes try to draw things to cheer myself up. I really like Skrillex, because he speaks for so many people out there, people chasing dreams and people seeking to feel good about themselves. I also really liked one of the pictures I had of him, so I decided to draw from it. I think it’s pretty meaningful to me. He is like a ray of sunshine, you know? And I can’t draw enough pictures of him. Even if he might never see them. :)

I think it’s great that drawing Sonny can pick your mood up when you’re feeling down. Honestly, your art is beautiful, and I hope you draw him when you’re feeling happy too, because I’d definitely like to see more.
